That said, your assessment of founder pros and cons and ultimate exit value were dead on for the start-up I cofounded. Rounding it out, when I joined a Big Corporate medical technology company, it was a lucrative ladder climb but I found I wanted more autonomy and had trouble thriving in a rigid org chart
